The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 state that any non-domestic property built prior to 2000 is required to have an Asbestos Management Plan in place.
In addition, prior to any works commencing on a building, such as refurbishment or full demolition works, the location, type and quantity of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) is required to be known.
Jones Melling Limited have fully qualified Surveyors who are trained to carry out Type I, II and III Asbestos Surveys, as defined by the Health & Safety Executive’s publication “Methods for the Determination of Hazardous Substances 100 (MDHS100): Surveying, Sampling and Assessment of Asbestos Containing Materials” (July 2001). From this, our Surveyors are able to determine, as far as reasonably practical, the presence of ACMs and suspected ACMs within a building or premises.
On confirmation of the presence of Asbestos, we can offer all applicable guidance required for the efficient and effective management or removal of it.
