The density of development within our larger towns and cities, and increased awareness of environmental issues and legal rights of third parties, have given rise to a range of different neighbour related problems. ‘Neighbourly Matters’ is the term commonly applied to this collection of problems that building owners and developers must consider.
Neighbourly Matters is a wide collection of services stemming initially from the more traditional Party Wall Etc. Act 1996 collection of services. Services range from boundary dispute advice, rights to access, party wall advice and various licences for varying forms of access. These are individually covered in more detail in the Sub Services sections to the left, but should all be considered as one when undertaking development works.
